Fully Assembled Bikes:
- These can only be transported on selected trains between London and Brussels.
Disassembled Bikes:
- When traveling between London and Paris, bikes must be disassembled and packed in a box or bag.
Folding Bikes:
- Folding bikes, including folding electric bikes, can be taken on board as long as they are no longer than 85 cm in length and are carried in a protective bag.
- This is for safety and to protect other passengers' luggage.
Other Routes:
- On routes between Belgium, France, the Netherlands, and Germany, bikes must be packed in a non-rigid cover with maximum dimensions of 135 x 85 x 30 cm.
- Only limited numbers are allowed, and both wheels must be removed.
Electric Bikes (E-bikes):
- E-bikes are treated similarly to regular bicycles, with the same rules for disassembly and packaging.
- Charging e-bikes at stations or on trains is prohibited.
These policies are designed to ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers, as well as to maximize space on the trains.
You may bring a folding bike or a kid's bike on board as long as it isn't longer than 85 cm and is carried in a protective bag that covers the entire bike. This is done to protect your bike, other people, and their luggage while at the station, on the train, and while going through security.
If your bicycle does not meet these requirements, you should consult Eurostar to reserve a seat; all of the necessary information is available on their website.
