Why you may not receive compensation
- If your train was cancelled and you did not travel, please see Do I get a refund if my train is cancelled? for information on requesting a refund.
- If your delay was caused by a planned disruption or the use of an emergency timetable, compensation is not available. You may not be compensated for delays caused by factors beyond the rail industry's control. However, each company's policy may differ, so it's best to check with them directly.
